Over the last few months I’ve been working on improving my linework, so that my pictures have a clearer crisp appearance ( although soft edges are also nice). On my videos, I’ve been drawing directly onto the paper, without any construction lines, to try and train my mind to visualise what i want to draw. Perhaps this will help me become more decisive when putting pencil to paper?
Artist/ illustrators I admire are able to depict groups of people, something I’ve been tentatively working on. I think more than one person in a picture creates a sense of narrative and human interest.
I’ve inadvertently stumbled onto the whole steampunk world. I kinda like drawing victorian clothing and I also like dabbling in 2nd world war mech. These two looks work really well together. I guess it was a match made in heaven?
